New Years Eve 2011

It was been a crazy year full of events and memories. We are so thankful we made it through another year didn’t do too much harm to each other. For New Years Eve we spent the weekend at a cabin in Tamarack that the doctor I work for owns. It was a wonderful weekend. We invited Riggs brother and family. We ate yummy food, played in the snow, watch fireworks, and sat in the hot tub. More picture to come from this weekend in 2012 post! HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and hope everyone else did as well. Since it landed on Sunday and Rigg had to be a work on Monday we decided to stay home this year. I made Rigg’s favorite orange rolls for breakfast.  It was nice and quite just doing our own thing. We went to Beau and Heather’s for dinner. Peyton loves to be in the kitchen so I let her help me make the rolls for dinner. We attended church and opened presents when we got back. Peyton love the cartoon OSO and I was able to find a coloring book at the dollar store and she was thrilled. She also loved the wooden puzzles and Mr. Potato head.

Dancing with DADDY! December 26th

Three things Peyton loves to do at the moment; be naked, be on daddy's shoulders, and dance to any type of music or noise. I love watching these moments with daddy and his little girl. It reminds me of why I married him. I always knew he would be an awesome daddy.

Graham Crackers Houses- December 19th, 2011

My mom has this tradition of making graham crackers houses since she was a little girl. The tradition has been apart of my life since I came to live with them when I was 14 yrs old. So it has been apart of my life since then and I plan on keeping it with my family. We have done it now with Beau and Heather’s family for 3 years and the kids always have a blast. This was Peyton’s first year that she really got into it.

Christmas Lights- December 16th

We went to look at Christmas lights at a house in Boise. WOW, it was quit the show. They do it every year and spend thousands on their eclectic bill, or so I have heard. It was neat that you can walk right up to the lights. Peyton enjoyed seeing mickey the best. We love this time of year and are so thankful for everything in our life.

My two sleepy heads- December 15th

Peyton loves to sleep in daddy’s arms and we love to take pictures of it. She loves to have her hands on her face when she sleeps. I love these two sleepy heads!

Christmas lights in Ogden Utah December 10th

We went to visit Rigg’s sister in Utah and she took us to the the Christmas Village that the city of Ogden puts on. It was a lot of fun to watch Peyton’s eyes light up when she saw the little houses. We also stood in line for a long time waiting for Santa Claus. She wasn’t so sure of him, but she sat there long enough for me to get some pictures.

Dinner Date- December 4th

We had our good friends over for dinner. I have known Rachel since we moved to Boise in 2006. We meet in our first ward in Boise and have been friends ever since. We have taken some classes together and have shared many memories good and bad. Our hubbys are both into football and can relate to each other on that level. They recently had a baby named Brooklynn who is super cute. It was nice to have them over for dinner and for me to get some baby time in.
