Peyton’s Surgery June 28th

Well it’s time again for Peyton to have surgery on her ears. One ear tube fell out and the other one was not working.  Poor thing, this will be her third surgery and hoping this will be her last since the doctor put permanent tubes in this time. She was such a trooper and did so well after surgery. We are very proud of her! After surgery she ate and did whatever made her comfortable and happy including eating a ton of Ottter Pops. As she would get a new one I would ask her to throw away her old wrapper and in her cute little voice she would say “okay mommy” meaning she understood and do what I asked her. Boy was I being played by a 3 year old. I came into the bedroom and found the space between the nightstand and bed full of wrappers. It was too funny not to take a picture of it.

Peyton’s Birthday Party June 23rd

Today we had Peyton’s birthday party in our back yard. Yes I know she is only 3, but since her first party we kind of make it a big deal. Since the only family we have near us is Rigg’s brother we invite our neighbors and friends and make a party out of it. And its fun to get the adults together and get to know each other better. Since her b-day is in the dead heat of the summer I am pretty sure she will always have some sort of a splash pool party. I am dying to buy one of those big blow up slide, maybe next year. The hubby made yummy burgers and hot dogs on the grill, fruit, chips, soda, and cupcakes, we ate good. We had a great time and are thankful to those who were able to make it.

Peyton’s Birthday June 22nd

Our little girl turn the BIG 3 today! Wow, where did the time go, it still feel like yesterday we were bringing her home. We love her so much and she brings so much joy into our lives. This morning we ate breakfast at "donalds house” AKA McDonalds before daddy went to work. Then we headed over to get a much needed hair cut and finger nails painted. She thought she was pretty cool. Since daddy was working late we went with my good friend Kristee and her kiddos to the Circus, she had a blast! Her favorite thing was riding the ponies. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEYTON!! WE LOVE YOU!
