RN Graduation March 30th, 2012

WOW! I thought I would never make it this far, and guess what I did! Of course not without the help and encouragement of my biggest fan, my HUBBY!! I could of not done this without his love and support.

Bye -Bye LPN Hello RN!!!

Saint Patrick's day-Playing dress up March 17th 2012

I made Peyton a dress up box for Christmas last year and here she is putting it to good use! I had nursing clinicals during the day so Rigg was home with Peyton. He surprised me with chocolate chip muffins when I got home and with Peyton dressed in green and pigtails in her hair, all ready for our dinner date to Red Robin. Any daddy that does their girls hair is a keeper!

We are expecting baby number TWO on November 6th, 2012

This is how the story went down on how baby number two came about. When Peyton turned two Rigg hinted towards the idea of wanting another baby. I thought it was very sweet that he was the first to bring it up. I laughed and thought it was a joke and told him he was CRAZY!! I was only a month into nursing school and had 10 more to go and did not think I could handle it. He then reminded me I was prego with Peyton when I did my LPN and survived.  Well its not like we were preventing or trying so the conversation ended with me saying “if it is meant to be, it will happen”. Months pass and nothing, I have to admit I was a little bummed. So, at my annual OB visit she checked me out and said I was fine and suggested ovulation kits. I said absolutely not! We had the motto “if it is meant to be, it will happen”.

Okay so two months later I gave in and tried one from the dollar store and what do you know the darn thing worked! I was very excited by now and waited for 2 whole days and took a test from the dollar store and of course only one pink line. I thought you know they are only a dollar so I pretty much took one every day for two weeks and finally on February 27th, I saw the most beautiful two straight pink lines I have ever seen. I was obsessed by this point and would take a test any chance I got.

Rigg had the day off and we had plans to grocery shop once I got off work. I had not taken a test yet so when I got to Albertsons I took one waiting for him to arrive, and that’s when my happy tears started strolling down my checks. I was happy, scared, nervous, and had no idea how to tell him. I don’t do well keeping secrets and this of course this could not wait till we got home. As I am walking towards him I grab a Babyruth off the shelf and handed it to him asking him if he wanted to name our next baby Ruth? Lame I know, but I was desperate and the rest is history. I had an ultra sound on March 14th, and everything is looking good. We are VERY excited and feel blessed to be having another baby.
