Father’s Day June 17th

My hubby had to work for father’s day this year so I wanted to do something sweet for him. Plans were to wake up early I mean 6:00 am early to make him his favorite breakfast “the breakfast roll” that his mom makes. Well those plans changed and ended in an emotional breakdown (remember I am prego) and we won’t get into the rest of that story. So I made it before church, then went to church, packed it all up and took it to him for lunch. He was one happy daddy!! We had dinner at his brother Beau’s house that evening. I left Peyton in her Sunday dress hoping to get some cute pictures of the two, but she thought it would be cool to put her head in the pool. I couldn’t help but take pictures. It was too cute. We got daddy an Ipod dock station for the bathroom so he can sing his heart out while showering and some much needed socks! It was a great day. HAPPY FATHERS DAY HONEY, WE LOVE YOU  AND ALL THAT YOU DO FOR OUR FAMILY!

It’s a GIRL!!!! June 12th

We are excited to announce that we are having another baby GIRL!!! We are so excited, but I have to admit I really, really wanted a boy. Rigg wanted and knew it would be a girl. Peyton still thinks it is a boy. When the tech told us it was a girl, she pouted and was not happy. When we tell her she is having a sister she says “ I no having a sister, I having a boy." She did so well at the appointment, but can’t say the same about this little baby girl. She would not give us a good profile picture and was moving and flipping all over the place. Other than that she is looking great! We feel very happy and blessed!

I PASSED Nursing boards!!! June 10th

Today at 7:30 AM I found out I passed my NCLEX test!! I am officially a RN! I took the test on Friday June 8th and waited patiently for 48 hours to get the results, wow it was a long weekend. I have been studying for the past 6 weeks and now I finally can breathe. It was a fast 4 1/2 hours of testing and lucky me I got the full 265 questions! My hubby gave me a wonderful blessing that morning of and I had a snickers and a Mountain Dew on my way to the testing center, just like I did when I took the test for my LPN. I am so so excited to be done and have time to spend with my family. Now that this stress is behind me onto the stress of finding a job!

Bye- Bye LPN you were a great experience and I wouldn't change it for the world. Thanks to all my family and friends for their love, support, and prayers! And to my wonderful husband, who without I could of not done this! I LOVE YOU Rigg Murray!

Eagle Fun Days June 8th and 9th

Every year Eagle puts on a parade and carnival among other things. I was really needing a night out since I just took my NCLEX test so we decided to hit up the carnival. Peyton was pretty excited more with the lights then anything else. It was small and she only did 3 rides but it was just nice to get out of the house. We decided we will stick to the fair rides from now on. We went to burger joint and then listened to some local bands. She had a wonderful time dancing with the other kids. (bummer I didn’t get any pictures) Saturday was the parade and it was raining, but we still went. She loved catching the candy and seeing the fire trucks.

Memorial Weekend

We had a wonderful Memorial weekend this year. As usual Rigg’s mom and sister came for the weekend. We did miss you Edela and your family! Saturday we BBQ and played card games. The weather was cold and rainy when we went to visit our dear Tasche’s grave. This year we smiled and took pictures, we know she is in a wonderful place! We went to Rigg’s brothers house on Sunday for Tyler’s birthday dinner and we played games. While we were playing games we got a little furry visitor, the neighbors kitty. The kids loved playing with it! Monday we had Rigg’s mom yummy breakfast roll and played more games then everyone left. There was a flag display at the park so we decided to see that and have a picnic at the park for dinner with Rigg’s brother and their family and then went our for some much needed watermelon frozen yogurt.
