RN Pinning Ceremony April 21st, 2012

Finally the day has come; I finished nursing school with my RN! I feel so blessed that I have been able to further my education to help provide for our family. I have met some wonderful nurses and patients along the way that have inspired me. Although the long days of school and work are over I somehow find myself missing it all already and I am only on week two of no school or work, I have got a long week ahead of me. I am happy to have more time to spend with my family and hoping to find a job that allows me to stay home more than my previous job. There is no way I could have done it without the help of my wonderful husband. He not only supported me and endured the roller coaster ride with me, but he did just about everything around the house and took care of Peyton in order for me to be gone for long hours a day. I love him so much!

Congrats Kim!!!

Kim has made us all proud and has graduated with her RN. It has taken a lot of hard work and sacrafice for her to reach her goals, but she did it and we are so proud of her.  Good work babe!!

Easter 2012

We had wonderful Easter this year. Saturday we went to our local park for an egg hunt, and Peyton was so excited to see the Easter bunny. She was not happy when we left the park. This was Peyton first time dying eggs and as you can see she really enjoyed it. I caught her on the counter with scissors trying to cut open the dye kit. She was waiting for the eggs to cool due to her mother peeling the first batch of eggs. I guess I was just ready to eat them, so I had made another batch. After church Rigg hid some eggs in the back yard and she had a blast looking for them. We made a yummy ham dinner and had Beau and Heathers family over for dinner.
