Caldwell Fair

So as usual Rigg gets to happily go to the fair every year. I tell you what, he is such a sport when it comes to me and our family nights out. I am starting to learn that I enjoy these events just as much at the kiddos. I didn’t get to experience these types of kid events when I was younger. Peyton has been talking about going on the fairs wheel and finally this year she was tall enough. She was super excited and guess who she picked to ride with her, ME! Kind of excited, but my track record says otherwise. I get motion sickness bad, I mean bad!. To my surprise I managed not to throw up. She also wanted to ride the flying swings, she is such a brave girl. Those two rides are her favorite. We had a great night out as a family.

Summer Fun

For family home evening we got Cold Stone and walked down the green belt.These girls love wagon rides and I love summer night walks and time with the fam.

Peyton and I tried a Pinterest  idea and made frozen chalk. She loved it!

Eagle Fun Days Parade

The Eagle fun day parade was a bust this year. We have gone the last two years and have really enjoyed it. Well it may have been my fault since we were late, had crappy parking and walked forever, did not pack drinks, or even a bottle, no sun screen, and we were all hungry.Oh and Rigg just got done working a night shift. We ended up going out to eat and still enjoyed our time together.  Hoping for a better turn out next year.

July Play Dates

We met up with our neighbor at the spray park for lunch and a little water time for the kiddos. Paisley was not a fan, but warmed up a little to the idea of the water. We also got to swim with my dear friend Kristee and her kiddos. Loving this summer and the 4 days I have off each week to spend with my family.

4th of July in Rexburg

 

This year we had the chance to go to Rexburg for the 4th. It was a huge deal since the hubby never gets that time off from work. It was also Rigg’s best friends boy’s baptism which we wouldn’t have missed. I think this was the first time I have ever been to the Rexburg parade. I was determined to go so much that we woke up a 4am and drove and made it just in time. We did fireworks at Rigg’s moms house with his two sisters Syrina and Falina- Peyton had a blast and Paisley not so much. We went to the waterpark, the spray park, hung out with my family, spent the night at his friends house,  and just enjoyed being away for a few days.
