Peyton just had surgery 3 days before Halloween, but she is a trooper and was feeling good enough to do the trunk o treat with our ward. Afterwards we went to Beau’s house and had dinner in a pumpkin that Heather makes every Halloween. I didn’t have plans for Peyton to do Halloween because I didn’t think she would be up for it. So we dug through her dress up box and she became a gangster princess since she refused to take her hat off. Since all of you know that Rigg a ketchup fan, I thought the ketchup costume would suit him well. I found it on clearance for 3 bucks the year before.
Peyton Surgery October 27th
Since Peyton was born she has had problems with her ears and now it is time for her to have ear tubes replaced since the first set has come out. The doctor also suggested we take out her tonsils and adenoids and see if that helps with the ear infections and lack of sleeping. Sure enough it did help. It was a long 2 weeks for miss Peyton, but we got through it with a lot of cuddle time, cartoons, and popsicles. She has been really into the cartoon OSO and I thought it would be cute to find the stuff animal so she would have it before and after surgery for a distraction, it worked like a charm.
She love it and was so happy!
Peyton playing at daycare October
Here are some random pictures of Peyton at daycare. Looks like she is having a good time. I hate having to drop her off everyday while I go to work and school. I have often felt guilty and selfish spending the money, the time away from my family, and for sending Peyton to daycare while I am going to nursing school instead of being a stay at home mom. It's these words that have made me realize I did the right thing for our family!
“We do live in turbulent times. Often the future is unknown; therefore, it behooves us to prepare for uncertainties. Statistics reveal that at some time, for a variety of reasons, you may find yourself in the role of financial provider. I URGE you to PURSUE YOUR EDUCATION and LEARN MARKETABLE SKILLS so that, should such a situation arise, you are prepared to provide." -Pres. Thomas S. Monson
Visit from Grandma Murray Oct 8th and 9th
Since I am back dating all of 2011 posts I can’t remember why Grandma Murray and Aunt Syrina came to Boise this time since they only come in the summer. Oh well, looks like we had a good weekend.
