Peyton has a hearing loss in her left ear and we have been using a loaner hearing aid. I guess she thought her applesauce needed some more flavor and she decided to add her hearing aid batteries to it. She was watching TV at the time and when I walked I knew she had ate some because of the empty battery wrapper. So I called poison control and they suggested she be seen. We went to the ER and sure enough she had swallowed 3 of them and thank goodness they were in her stomach and not in her esophagus. She ended up passing them over the next 3 days.
Our Peyton is full of excitement and we love every bit of it!
