Blog is under construction!
As you can see I have not posting much since July 2009!! (This post was actually done in May 2012) Life got ahead of me and the blog got put on the back burner. My husband has been bugging me to update the blog, but with work, new baby, and nursing school how was I going to find the time to do it. Well my friends it took the example of my husband. The day of my RN pinning he figured out how to update it (which he has never done before) and left a sweet message to me. And since then I have been back dating with hopes to print it into a book. Since a don’t do any other other journaling or scrapbooking I thought this would be the perfect way to go. I have got journaling and photos all in one spot and I want my kiddos to have these memories and photos. My goal is to finish back dating 2012 and have 2011 done before the baby comes in November so I can have the whole year of 2011 printed into a book for our family Christmas present. I am pretty motivated right now since I don’t have a job and I have time on my hands so we will see how this project turns out.
4th of July 2009
Our original plans for the 4th were to go to Rexburg and visit family. That didn't happen due to the fact I was back in the hospital on Wednesday until Friday because of the infection I got after my c-section. It was bad enough that I had to be admitted for IV antibiotics and a placement of a wound vac, a machine that sucks out all the infection. So, thankfully Rigg's mom and sister and her family decided to come to Boise for the the 4th to help us out without us even asking them. They were such a big help since I have not been feeling well and have been in pain, and I have a 2 week old. They cooked, cleaned, and helped with the baby. We are so thankful they came and can't thank them enough. We ended up having a good weekend. We ate good food, hung out, played games, laughed, and watched fireworks from our back yard. We had a pretty good view. There must have been several shows going on in Star and we were able to see all of them.

Update
There has been a lot going on the past few weeks and I have to be honest that I have been too lazy to update the blog. Today marks 6 weeks since the passing of our dear Tasche. Rigg and I are doing our best to keep busy for the most part and trying to spend time with Keola as much as possible without bugging him. We think of her and talk of her often. As were are in the car driving Rigg makes comments that she is pointing her finger and he can hear her telling him to be nice to me. Its an inside joke that we have always had with her. She was always on his case about being nice to me and do anything for me that I wanted. I miss her giving him a bad time. I kept telling my self that I would not sit around and keep thinking about all of the things that I could of done different, but easier said than done. When I start to have those days where I do nothing but think of her and how much I miss her, I remind my self of the knowledge that we have of the Gospel to know that we will be with her again. No greater feeling of peace fills my heart than that gentle reminder.
We are still keeping busy with school and work. This semester has been a busy one for me. I am trying to play catch up and hope that I have done everything I need to do to graduate in May. With the baby on the way we are finding a way to expand our space and that has lead us to finding a house to buy. We are in the underwriting process right now and we are crossing our fingers that everything goes through so we can move in before the baby comes. It is a very exciting and scary feeling to know that we might be owners of a house. The doc says that the baby is doing fine only ten more weeks to go!!!

Valentines Weekend
We had an awesome weekend! Rigg had his best friend Shawn and his wife Tracy and their little ones come stay with us for the weekend. It was so fun just relaxing and hanging out. Valentines day we went out to Red Robin for lunch and took the kids to PoJo's, which is similar to Chucky Cheese. Rigg and Shawn cooked us dinner that night and it was sure yummy! They did an awesome job. It is so fun to watch Rigg and Shawn together because they are kids at heart. I think they like PoJo's more than the kids. They have spent a couple of late nights there playing games. It is too bad that I don't have pictures of them playing.
It is tough to get a normal smile out of this guy, but his faces sure do put a smile on my face.

Dinner was lasagna, salad, and yummy cheese bread. Oh, and apple cider. Of course I had to be craving something so I made a cherry chip cake for desert which is my favorite.
Finally a SMILE! I gotta love him!

The outside version of spoons. Good thing there was no snow. It was a little chilly, but do you think they cared?
Over the weekend we had a joke that Rigg was our "family dog". In order for us to ride in the same car someone had to sit in the trunk. Don't worry it was a hatch back so he got some air. He was a good sport about it and we had fun joking about it.
Shawn has an uncle that lives in Boise, so we went over there for dinner and games on Sunday. Spoons is a game that we have played there in the past, so of course we had to play it again. They started inside which was scary enough and then someone had the idea to take the game outside. They all gathered around the card table and the spoons were out in the yard. It was real entertainment seeing them run for the spoons falling and pulling on each other. Shawn's sister was there and lets just say that she took a hard hit and we ended the game. We had such a fun weekend and we are glad they came.
It's a GIRL!!!
We just got back from our Ultra Sound appointment and found out that we are having a shy and stubborn GIRL!! They had a hard time getting pictures and although she would not open her legs as far as they wanted her to, they got enough of a peak to tell us we're having a girl. They also could not get any good pictures of her heart, so I have to go back in four weeks to get heart pictures and measurements. She was moving all over the place and did not want to be still at all. She had her hands in her mouth the entire time, so no such luck in getting pictures of her mouth to check the pallet. I love technology! It is so neat to see your baby move and to see and hear the heart beat. Even though everyone thought Rigg wanted a boy, he is just as thrilled to have a girl as I am. Well, other than that the Dr. says that everything else looks good. We are so excited!!
Were getting prepared!
I know that it is impossible to be totally prepared to have a baby, but we are doing our best. Last week Rigg came home with grocery bags full of diapers and wipes. I was a bit shocked, because it was our first baby thing that we bought and I wasn't with him. Because I am a women I care about those tiny stupid details. Anyways, I got over it when he told me what kind of deal that he got on them. So, the next day I went to 3 different Albertsons to find more and I doubled what he brought home. We got different sizes and luckily being married to a grocery boy we can always exchange them for different sizes down the road. Well the problem is that we have no room to put them, so I got creative and decided to use them as my plant shelf decorations in my kitchen and the rest are under our bed. The joys of living in a one bedroom!!
Oh, I should mention we changed our doctor appointment to this Friday the 30th to see if we can buy PINK or BLUE. We wanted to find out before we went to Rexburg so we can tell our family and friends.

GO STEELERS!!
As a true steeler fan among the many that are out there, I wanted to show my support during this week leading up to when the first team to get 6 Superbowl Rings will come forth. I would like to thank my brothers for showing me the light at such a young age as well to the man I look to as my father figure Merrill Sharp for supporting me all these years despite the influence from the dark side in his family, particularly my best friend Shawn. Ya its been a challenging friendship to say the least. My love goes out to all the true black and gold followers.
We have a BLOG!!!
